Nation Awards 2018

The Nation Awards get bigger and better every year and this year was no acception! Our 4th annual awards are an opportunity to show off the talent that our band holds while also congratulating those who have made progress and thanking those who contribute to the continuation of Nation.

All three bands that make up Nation are put up for awards. It is an excellent way of bringing all of our members together and celebrating not only as a band, but as a family. We wouldn't be able to function as a band without the wonderful people who run and attend Nation every week. So we like to take a moment every year to appreciate what we have.

The next award is for the Outstanding Achievement award. It has been renamed the Vilna Cruikshank Outstanding Achievement awards after one of our most loved players who passed away recently, Vilna. In her honour we have and will to continue to name this award after her to remember her amazing enthusiasm and love of pan. The receivers of this award are Yuggy and Aaron.

We also thanked those who have helped Nation run. Without them our band would not be able to stay up and running.
